What was the initial inspiration for your app?
The initial inspiration for Dr. Panda Bath Time was to create a game that captures how fun and playful taking a bath can be for kids. The original concept was to focus the gameplay solely around the bathtub, but we decided to expand on that to explore more ways to have fun in the bathroom.
The game went through quite some iteration. For example, some might find it interesting that Dr. Panda’s bathroom has a separate shower and bath. After going over multiple versions of the bathroom design, we understood that we needed to separate the “play” and the “clean” aspects. So, the bathtub is designed to be more fun, and the shower more educational.
What is your favorite aspect of the app?
One of the most exciting features to be added to this game is the new character animation. We paid extra attention to creating fun responses from each lovable Dr. Panda character, so you can really get to know their different personalities. Through interactions like brushing their teeth, blow-drying their ears, or having them snorkel underneath the water – each animation makes the play experience so much fun!
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
For most parents, bath time is an important part of a bedtime routine, and while some kids can’t get enough of it, others need some persuading! Kids will be able to make a big splash with fun activities that can be applied in their real-life bath routine, such as a bubble-beard makeover or choosing what outfit to wear.
