This fantastic, educational kids app is presented by StudyPad, Inc.  It is amazing, providing over 200 math concepts to practice and designed to state standards for education.  You will see in the first video, the opening page shows you reports and topics that can be used to practice.  All wrapped in a colorful water world filled with great sea life characters.  Kids get an email with their progress too! It was our pleasure to do this app review.

Note that my worksheet just began and I try to make mistakes to show kids what that looks like.  Really!  I do!  What I want you to see in these reports is the huge number of math skills to work on.  Full screen on the video may work better for some.

 A charming starfish is a cheerleader for our kids.  Don’t forget to play with the creatures in the aquarium!

Continue with shapes and numbers.  I won a squid!

There is entirely too much great, educational content in this app, too much to cover in one review.  It is a must have app!  This app is perfect for home and school use.

Take a break between sessions and enjoy playing with fun creatures in the aquarium. Earn new ones such as angel fish, clown fish, squid, crabs as you earn more points. The more you practice more the prizes!

What was the initial inspiration for Splash Math Grade 1?

Looking at the usage of touch devices, we realized it is most fun and engaging platform for learning. The educational apps in the market were designed mostly as single-concept one off games. There were no apps in the market focusing on adding fun to the existing educational standards based school education for kids. Hence, we thought of designing the most comprehensive curriculum based fun math apps. ~ Mayank Jain

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

The aquarium! Kids love to collect, and play with fishes in the aquarium. We are working on adding lot more fun factors to our apps in the coming few months. ~ Mayank Jain
