What was the initial inspiration for your app?

My niece Johanna. She entered to school last year. I searched for apps in the App Store to help her a bit. I have many, many teachers around me. For most apps that I downloaded, I was told: “Oh, that could be better” or something like: “nice game, but without the learning curve”. I am a software developer. So I thought, “Well then, I just build an app by myself”. But I had imagined to be simple: All the teachers around me kept saying that you can surely better. But the biggest testers were  my niece, Johanna,  and her friends: They were very precocious about my app, discussed and thought it over and over: Well, here and here you have to rework something, they told me. Phew, ok. That is what I did. 😉

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

The app is based on a modification of the Leitner system. The questions are repeated until the child gives the right answer. Thus, the answers will be incorporated into the memory. So it creates a real learning effect.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

If  the app is successful I can do many more.  Although it is challenging work for me, as I already told ;-), it is rewarding to create and share. I would love your feedback on this review and your experience with the app!
