What was the initial inspiration for your app?
If we show our young kids a mathematical formula and expect them to understand what it means, we’ll probably find out that they don’t get it. This is not because they are not smart enough, it’s because their minds have not connected the dots yet! This is what we wanted to achieve with Thinkrolls 2. Motivate kids to summon their own resources and help them make the necessary connections in order to solve complicated logic puzzles.
Thinkrolls 2 promotes learning driven by curiosity and pushes the limits of kids’ intelligence and understanding of cause and effect. And of course there is another essential ingredient in this app: FUN! Without it none of these would be possible.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
One of the things that makes Thinkrolls 2 unique is that learning emerges naturally through personal experience. It appeals to children’s natural curiosity and challenges them with gameplay that fosters creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. Kids are encouraged to experiment at their own pace and use trial and error again and again until they decode the puzzles and make their way to the end of the maze. The puzzles gradually increase in difficulty to facilitate optimal brain training. There is no penalty for wrong moves and kids can try as many times as they want until the find the right solution.
While playing Thinkrolls 2 kids not only explore various physics concepts but they also develop a wide variety of important life skills such as problem solving, concentration, patience, persistence, strategizing and creative thinking.
