Stella and the Space Bears! | Book Apps
Stella and the space bears is a heartwarming tale of a charming cosmonaut and her adventures with three bears in space. Stella wanted this mission and three bears were sent instead! The bears appear to be in chaos but follow along as Stella learns more about what they are doing and how to help them.
There are great life lessons for kids in this app – lessons that all Parents and Teachers will appreciate. The videos below will give you an example of the value. The story, as a whole, opens an opportunity to dialogue with your kids on social skills such as open mindedness, sharing talents, and empathy. The graphics and narration are very enticing and kids will love tapping around to hear what else is going on in the scenery. This app is presented to us by A D ARIN-GRAY.

Meet The Developer!
What was the initial inspiration for your app?
I do a lot of illustrations just for fun, and they usually end up having a story behind. I had never pursued writing after an illustration before, but after I illustrated a cosmonaut with 3 bears in space, it was irresistible. First I was planning to get it published as a book, but later on, as I saw more and more kids use iPads, I thought a book with narration and music and interactivity, as a whole experience, was a better idea.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
Besides I believe it’s a good children’s book (I truly believe that because I write and illustrate with what I used to like as a child in mind) my favorite aspect is the combination of music and narration. The best people for the job worked on this; Atakan Kundak’s music is so moresome that I’ve been constantly listening to it over and over again while I was finishing the app and Harriet Kemsley’s quirky voice and great narration puts the cherry on top! Oh, and there’s the secret touch-activated bear voices on some of the pages – which Harriet and I had a lot of fun acting out, and our sound designer Douglas Fayers turned them into rather convincing bear voices!
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
I am working on another app now, which should be out in a few months. I guess we could call it an epic children’s story’s. Keep an eye out!
