TALU Space | An endless spaceship adventure | Educational Apps
Posted on: 10-20-2018 by: Mary
This app is presented by one of my favorite companies and a couple of my first video reviews, AlphaTots Alphabet and TallyTots Counting.
You will find the same encouraging audio and increasingly awesome video in Talu Space Adventure.
Flying spaceships and repairing robots will definitely provide hours of fun for your little space explorers. There are over 20 mini games and 25 interesting characters to meet!
Opportunities to practice counting, matching, sorting, shapes, puzzles, logic, order of operations, problem solving make this a unique educational app. In addition, kids can earn stars by helping your neighbors 🙂
This app is kid-safe and ad free. Use our search tool to check out Alpha Tots and Tally Tots (Upper right).
This is the perfect app to gift to your favorite teachers and for use at home. Be sure to read the developer interview below. This is a great team to get to know and they would love your feedback.
Meet The Developers!
What was the initial inspiration for your app?
For this app we just wanted to enjoy the theme of space. Our family loves sci-fi — everything from Star Wars to WALL-E. Our kids are curious and talk about space travel, planets and stars quite a bit. We like to watch Space-X rocket launches (and landings) and our house is pretty much always littered with costumes & light sabers.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
Definitely the playfulness. TALU Space doesn’t take itself too seriously. This is more about using the imagination and solving challenges along the way. We wanted kids to be free to explore and discover. The scenes are packed with little details and fun things to uncover.
This app may be more sci-fi than science, but that doesn’t mean kids won’t learn as the play. We have weaved counting, puzzles, matching, sorting and more in the play. This is an enriching experience for little learners.

Little 10 Robot is a family business and this app was really a group effort. We have four boys ranging from 9 to 16 years old. Our oldest is following in Dad’s footsteps and has become quite the artist. He drew many of the vehicles and costumes in TALU Space. Our 14 year old created many of the sounds. Our 10 year old is the voice of the Little 10 Robot logo animation and our 9 year old was full of funny ideas and critical feedback. They were all diligent play testers and reported back with their thoughts throughout the process. We hope it is as fun for kids to play as it was for team Hutton to create. was the initial inspiration for your app?
